End of life vehicles

Recylux processes each year more than 150 000 end of life vehicles coming directly from garages, dealerships or car wreckers. Recylux has 7 sites that are authorized to receive and process out of order vehicles.

Recylux handles every phase of the end of life vehicles treatment:

• We take delivery of the end of life vehicles and draft destruction certificates
• We collect and transport out of order vehicles
• We proceed to the depollution (oil, brake fluid, coolant,…)
• We gather batteries and tyres and send them to the appropriate company for recycling.
• After drafting the depollution certificate, we crush the wrecks
• After that, we sort out and recycle the crushing residues in order to reach the objectives set by directive 2000/53/CE about End of Life Vehicles
• We supply steel factories and foundries and deliver them recyclable metals
• We supply plastic recyclers, energy recycling units and public works companies and deliver them directly recyclable depolluted material

Our computer traceability system is certified ISO 9001 and guarantees the administrative and operational follow-up throughout the process, so we can reach the recycling threshold that the Directive VHU 200/53/CE imposes. Our collecting network along with our 3 crushers, our post-crushing sorting facilities and our world-wide commercial activity contribute to our economic competitiveness.
