Waste from Electrical and Electronic equipments
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (2002/95/CE and 2002/96/CE) makes it compulsory for the WEEE management to follow a specific process system. This system is supported by eco-organisms in France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
This system allows to collect long-standing stocks and take care of end of life products. The waste collection system includes return points at the retailers (an end of life product for a new bought product) and collection points at local authorities, most often in waste management facilities.
Whether you are a company or a local authority, Recylux has the necessary ability and expertise to optimize the logistical management of the collected waste.
WEEE management consists of dismantling them in order to remove the substances that are dangerous for the environment (refrigerant liquid, screens photoluminescent powder,…) and sorting out the recyclable materials to obtain the maximal recycling rate for every category.
Recylux dismantling and recycling facilities were designed to retrieve and then process safely the toxical substances and to recycle at best all WEEE components (electronic cards, plastics, metals,…).
