Recylux employs a team of specialised engineers to manage its invesments program, to adjust and improve the existing processes and to strengthen the functional and environmental efficiency of our recycling plants.

This industrial development policy enables us to constantly improve the productivity and profitability of our sites, to reduce their impacts on the environment and to follow-up or anticipate the regulation evolutions.

Each year, we invest about 20 millions euros in innovative systems, in order to maintain our leading position in terms of handled tonnages and production quality.

During last years, some of the targets of our investment program have been:

• The purchase of a new waste disposal unit on the site of Zutendaal
• The development of solutions for the electrical and electronic equipments waste
• The development of depollution systems for the out of use vehicles
• The development of an innovative system for sorting the crushing residues in which recyclable materials (metals, plastics, elastomers,…) can be separated from the rest.
